Dear Slovenians in Luxembourg and the surrounding area!
We invite you to a literary afternoon with the writer Majda Koren. Registrations are not mandatory, but are recommended due to the preparation of the content and the limitation of the hall. There is no entrance fee, but they are welcome voluntary contributions, which will be fully allocated to a primary school charity project in The Gambia (more at this link).

About the author Majda Koren
The multi-awarded writer (vechernica, Levstik award, Good night, children) wrote most of her stories for children, beginner readers who struggle with letters and reading. She wrote scripts for the children's shows Radovedni Pawček and Iz popotne torbe. She is the author of many supplementary materials for teaching in the first triad. She has already traveled to quite a few European countries with her books, and has also been to America twice; once in Argentina and Uruguay and once in the United States.
Her stories about the little monster Mica are the most popular in Slovenia. They were published in three books; The little monster Mici, Mici from 2.a and That Mici from 2.a again. The picture book Cook me a fairy tale was translated into foreign languages. It was published in Estonian, Latvian, Polish, Turkish and Albanian. The comic book about Kap and Bund, two pig bandits, is printed in Croatian, Italian and Spanish, with French (to be printed in Canada) and Croatian versions also coming out. Three comics were published in Slovenian: Inspector Jože, Kapo and Bundo and At the End of the Rim Road.

Parallel charity project
In case you haven't noticed, funds are being collected in parallel for a primary school in The Gambia. That maybe one day Gambian children will also create something beautiful. See more about the project at the link https://slolux.eu/events/gambija
