Dear Slovenians in Luxembourg and elsewhere in the world!
Recently, we were touched by the campaign with which the group "Be a man, help" again helps socially disadvantaged parents to provide everything necessary for their children's smooth entry into school. In 2017/18, more than 200 children were helped, and in 2018/19 the goal is to help at least 350 children.
After talking with the organizer of the campaign, we at the Slovenian Society in Luxembourg decided to organize the collection of contributions ourselves. We invite Slovenians everywhere in the world to contribute according to your abilities. We are convinced that together we will enable many children to enter the school desks peacefully.
We will forward the collected funds to the organizers so that they can purchase the necessities as soon as possible. The last day of the campaign is Sunday, August 26, 2018. Such as in the past, we will publish the collected amount and the remaining details of the charity campaign even after this campaign.
We invite all Slovenian men and women abroad to spread the word about the campaign across all borders and for help to come from everywhere! We also accept remittances from Slovenia. 😀
On the side of the Slolux association, the action is coordinated by Emil Kos, president of the Slolux association, who can be contacted by email emil.kos@slolux.eu.
At the end of the first part of the campaign, on August 26, 2018, €654.46 was collected, which was already transferred to the representative of the group!
The promotion has been extended until September 16, 2019!
On September 10, 2018, we transferred the second part of the received transfers in the total amount of €359.06 to the group representative.
A total of €1,013.52 was collected by September 10, 2018! Thank you all.
