The VTIS Society (Society of Educated Slovenians Abroad) in cooperation with the Slolux Society is organizing the event "VTIS Luxembourg: knowledge exchange in the international space", which will take place on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. (official part at 5:30 p.m.) . It will be hosted by the judge of the General Court of the European Union Miro Prek and the judge of the Court of the European Union dr. Marko Ilešič.
The event is part of a series of events of the VTIS Association, which take place all over the world, the purpose of which is to promote networking, mutual cooperation, sharing of experiences and presentation of the professional work of Slovenians working at educational or economic institutions abroad. The speakers will be prof. dr. Danilo Zavrtanik, rector of the University of Nova Gorica, lawyer Tatjana Andoljšek LLM (Cambridge UK) MBA, managing partner at the law firm OPAM Law in Ljubljana and Luxembourg, dr. Jan Bednarich, head of the Department for Languages at the European Commission and dr. Sebastjan Glinšek, researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology. Short presentations will be followed by an interactive discussion moderated by him Emil Kos, president of the SloLux association.
