On October 6, it started already at 9. CinEast a festival that, like every year, shows quite a bit this year as well Slovenian films.
The first Slovenian film to be screened was the film directed by Damjan Kozolet, the film Night Life.
The director, who also attended the event and said a few words at it, says about the film that it is a film about a society whose driving force is fear and which does not offer easy solutions. He thinks it reminds us of how fragile our lives are and how everything is interconnected, and shows us how some wounds will never truly heal because humans are more evil creatures than dogs.
In addition to him, the event was attended by over 60 people from Luxembourg and Brussels, as a regular guest, the ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Brussels, Mr. Matjaž Šinkovec.
After the movie, the visitors socialized a bit more over Slovenian delicacies. The event was co-financed by the Slovenian embassy in Brussels and the Slolux association.
