Supplementary Slovenian lessons in Luxembourg from April onwards

Dear parents!

We are happy to inform you that the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport (MIZŠ) has found a teacher based on the tender and has made it possible to hold classes in the last quarter of the 2017/18 school year. The classes, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture with the support of the Slolux association, will be completely free for the participants.

Classes will be held on Sunday mornings. Children will be divided into two groups:

  • Age group from 4 up to and including 6 years: Sundays, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m
  • Age group Ages 7 and up: Sundays, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m

If the parents think that your child, who is under 4 years old, would be suitable, please enroll him as well, and we will leave the assessment of suitability to the teacher. Nataši Garafol, who will also evaluate if a child is perhaps more advanced and can be placed in a higher group, even though he belongs to a lower group after years.

Due to the approaching Easter holidays, which are spread over 3 weeks thanks to the different school systems in Luxembourg, we decided that the first meeting on Sunday, April 22, 2018, and the last meeting of this school year on Sunday, July 1. In the interim period, classes will be held every Sunday except on holiday weekends. You will receive the exact schedule on the day of the lesson.

Classes are expected to take place on the premises of the Altrimenti club, which we will confirm to you in the coming weeks, when we also send you the official application forms.
