In the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, no. 43/17, the Decree on the call for elections of the President of the Republic, which will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017, was published. August 21, 2017 is considered the day of the election call, which is the date on which the deadlines for election tasks begin.
Polling stations will be open at the following representative offices:

The polling station at the VP in Brussels (Rue du Commerce 44, 1000 Brussels) will be open on 22 October 2017 between 9 am and 5 pm.
Voters who live abroad permanently or are abroad only temporarily can confirm their signature on the support form for an individual presidential candidate at diplomatic missions of the Republic of Slovenia abroad between 21 August 2017 and 27 September 2017.
Voters who permanently reside abroad have the opportunity to personally inspect the electronic records of personal data and submit applications for the correction of incorrect data or applications for registration in the electoral register between 10 September 2017 and 6 October 2017.
Voters with a permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia, who have a permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia and will be abroad at the time of the elections and would like to vote by post from abroad or at one of the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Slovenia with an open polling station, you have the opportunity to vote by 21 9. 2017 by 24:00, report this to the National Election Commission.
Voters with a permanent address abroad, entered in a special electoral register (expatriates), can vote by mail or at a diplomatic mission with an open polling station or at a special OMNIA polling station in the Republic of Slovenia, if you will be in the Republic of Slovenia on the day of the election. Notification for voting at the OMNIA polling station can be forwarded to the National Electoral Commission until midnight on October 18, 2017.

Sending notifications via the e-notification system or e-administration - Application
The National Electoral Commission has established a new information system "E-
voter notifications" (hereinafter: e-notifications) with the aim of simplification and rationalization
procedures for transmitting voter notifications.
For the election of the President of the Republic, which will be held on October 22, 2017, the following voters can submit notifications via the e-notification system:
- Voters with a permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia who will be abroad on voting day can notify via the e-notification system that they would like to vote by mail from abroad (if they have a temporary address abroad) or that they want to vote at a diplomatic consular representation with an open polling station .
- voters who have a permanent address abroad and will be in the Republic of Slovenia on the day of voting can, via the e-notification system, notify that they wish to vote outside the district of permanent residence or at this OMNIA polling station in the Republic of Slovenia.
