Voting at the legislative referendum on the Act on the Construction, Management and Management of the Second Track

Citizens of the Republic of Slovenia who do not have a permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia or during the implementation of the legislative referendum on the Act on the Construction, Management and Management of the Second Track of the Divača-Koper Railway Line (ZIUGDT), i.e. on Sunday, September 24, 2017, you are abroad, we would like to inform you that on Sunday, September 24, 2017, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time, polling stations will be open at the following diplomatic missions and consulates: GK in Klagenfurt, GK in Cleveland, GK in Munich, GK in Trieste, GK in Toronto, VP in Athens, VP in Belgrade, VP in Berlin, VP in Bern, VP in Bratislava, VP in Brussels, VP in Budapest, VP in Buenos Aires, VP in Canberra, VP in Vienna, VP in The Hague, VP in Kiev, VP in Copenhagen, VP in London, VP in Madrid, VP in Moscow, VP in Ottawa, VP in Paris, VP in Podgorica, VP in Prague, VP in Sarajevo, VP in Skopje, VP in Tokyo, VP in Warsaw, VP in Washington, VP in Zagreb and VP at the Holy See, Vatican.

If you are abroad only temporarily and you would like to vote at a diplomatic mission or consulate with an open polling station, or you would like to vote by mail from abroad, you can notify the State Election Commission, no later than until September 8, 2017 until midnight (http://www.dvk-rs.si/files/files/Obr02_voting_by_posti_zdomci.pdf).

In case abroad you are a permanent resident and you cannot vote at a diplomatic mission or consulate, or if there is no mission with an open polling station in your country of residence, you can vote by mail, if on time, namely until September 8, 2017 until midnight, You notify the National Election Commission that you want to vote by mail (http://www.dvk-rs.si/files/files/Obr01_voting_by_posti_isjelenci.pdf). 

The notification form for voting by mail from abroad, information on possible ways of exercising the right to vote, and information on diplomatic missions and consulates with an open polling station can be found on the websites of the National Electoral Commission: http://www.dvk-rs.si/index.php/si/

We advise everyone who wants to vote by mail to send the notification of intention to the National Election Commission as soon as possible.
