The Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenes abroad and around the world published XVI. Award competition for diploma, master's and doctoral theses on the topic of Slovenians abroad and in emigration.
A total of 281 assignments were submitted in the 15 competitions so far, and 92 were awarded (among them many from Argentina, Germany, Serbia, Switzerland, etc., but especially from Italy and Austria).
