Lords of Vegeta
Lords of Vegeta is coming to Luxembourg with their ethno-world program “Une Tournée des Balkans.” This unique concert offers an immersive musical experience with authentic Balkan melodies and rhythms, as well as original compositions by Gaja and Ana, enriched with subtle Nordic influences.
Join us on a distinctive musical journey that combines sensual songs, lively Scandinavian-inspired melodies, and the duo's own creative projects. The evening ends in authentic Balkan style partying!
The performers
Gaja Sušelj, a Slovenian living in Luxembourg, and An Černe are Slovenian musicians who explore the intersection of traditional, world and classical music.
Gaja, a violinist and composer, creates a distinctive sound world in which Balkan traditions – primarily Bulgarian, Serbian and Roma – intertwine with jazz, classical and slightly electronic influences.
An, a flautist, violinist and composer, moves confidently between improvisation, traditional repertoire, pedagogy and collective artistic creation, developing an open and lively musical expression.
Together they form Lords of Vegeta, a project dedicated to Bulgarian and Romanian music, which they reshape with bold, contemporary arrangements. Between heritage and innovation, their music connects deep Balkan roots with a free, modern and highly expressive musical language. In addition to interpreting traditional repertoire, their program combines tradition and original music into an organic whole.
