About the performances
Children's performance "Mixture from the suitcase"
When Lucija tries to introduce the most terrifying, wild and dangerous beast, other animals come out of the suitcase uninvited. So Lucija deals with very special questions: Where does the lion belong? Can frogs sing? And what is the rooster doing here anyway? The answers are hidden in the suitcase.
Confusion from the Suitcase is one of the first Slovenian ventriloquist shows for children. It is entertaining, educational, and full of mischief, and also includes singing segments.
'Suitcase Mix' is suitable for children from 3 to 12 years old.
Stand-up show for adults
Lucija Ćirović is an actress, stand-up comedian, puppeteer and the first ventriloquist in Slovenia. Ventriloquist stand-up comedy with a puppet for adults is a performance in which Lucija, with the help of various puppets and stand-up comedy, presents herself, her view of the world and life in a fun way.
Ventriloquism is a technique of speaking without moving the lips, creating the illusion that the voice is coming from another person, in this case a puppet.
The show is for adults. suitable for ages 14 and up!*
* Younger children are welcome, but they may not understand all the jokes.
Who is Lucija Ćirović?
Lucija Ćirović is an actress, stand-up comedian, drama teacher, puppeteer, and ventriloquist who performs for adults and children.
She became recognizable to adult audiences after her role as Fate in the TV comedy series TV Dober dan (POP TV, 1999 – 2002). Since 2003, she has been performing as a stand-up comedian on stages across Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Austria, Hungary and also America (in Slovenian, Serbo-Croatian or English). She has also recorded two of her stand-up performances for television, as part of the show 'StendAp predstavlja' (VOYO, 2017 and 2022).
Children know her as a puppeteer who animates and gives voice to the puppets in the television show Ribič Pepe (2008 – 2024) on RTV Slovenia. She is a co-founder of the children's puppet and play theater Gledališče iz desnega žepka. In 2016, as part of her studies at AGRFT, she graduated with a master's degree with a written thesis and a comedy performance S trebuhom za kruhom, in which she was the first in Slovenia to perform ventriloquism (ventriloquism). In the performance, she first used a rooster puppet named Coco Ch.Adel. Since then, she has been introducing ventriloquist acts with Coco and other characters into all her stand-up performances for adults. In 2022, the first Slovenian children's ventriloquist performance Zmešnjava iz kovčka was also created.
Instructions for purchasing tickets
Lucija will present two separate performances. A performance for children, lasting around 40 minutes, followed by a half-hour break, and then a performance for adults.
- Parents who want to go home after the first part with the children, just buy a ticket for the children's show.
- Everyone (even young people) who will watch a show for adults, buy a ticket for an adult show.
- Everyone who will come already to a children's show and stayed the whole evening, buy only an adult ticket.
