Dear Slovenians in Luxembourg, my colleague Jera Marušič is kindly organizing an adventure picnic with the aim of shaping and developing the idea of a "camp afternoon school". Her invitation is provided below. You are welcome!
Dear parents,
Thank you for your responses, both written and live! From them, I conclude that it is as follows: many of you like the idea and would perhaps include your children in the activity, but the bigger problem is leadership. I expected this, since most of us probably lack the time and energy for yet another obligation. Some mothers who would be willing to get more actively involved have mentioned that you – like me – lack “camping” knowledge and experience.
Of course, regardless of all this, it doesn't seem like giving up - because there is the will and interest, I think it's worth a try. I invite you all to join me in two weeks, on Sunday, September 28th, at 11:00 am - of course together with the children - on a trial "adventure picnic", namely at a forest location Fënsterdall at Mersch. There will also be an opportunity to discuss and check what can be done and in what form we could continue.
Please write to me as soon as possible if you would like to come so we can arrange food, drinks, and transportation.
