Greetings, I hope you had a great summer (and survived the heat). At the beginning of the school year, some information about the schedule of Slovenian masses in the new school year.
The first mass was planned for September 19th, but the former Brussels pastor Zvone Štrubelj, who now works in Stuttgart, together with Jože Kamino, invites us to celebrate the Slovenian mass in Trier a few days later.
This will be the first Slovenian mass on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Church of St. Mary in Trier (Kirchplatz 7, 54293 Trier-Pfalzel). A choir from Slovenia will be a guest at the mass, and believers from Merlebach, France, will also join in. There will be a reception after the mass, so we are all invited to contribute to the culinary side of this celebration. Mass on Saturday, September 19, WASTE.

Another important notice is Schedule of Slovenian masses this year. According to the agreement with the pastor of Kamino and the pastor of Bertran, the schedule is as follows:

The masses are on Saturdays at 4:30 PM in the church of St. Peter and Paul in Betrange.

Respected and dear Slovenians in Luxembourg, dear friends,
After a long time since I left Brussels, I am announcing myself again. I will not emphasize that I miss you. Whenever I was in Luxembourg, I felt nice and comfortable, I was impressed by the lively and creative community. I have especially fond memories of family seminars, where we discovered together the paths to the person within ourselves, in our loved ones and especially in our children.
Jože Kamin and I, who should have come to the September Mass on Saturday, September 19, 2026, have planned the change we are proposing together. Instead of Saturday, September 19, we invite you to Trier on Tuesday, September 22, where there will be a Holy Mass at 6 p.m. /Slovenian, German and French/, a concert by the high-quality choir from Slovenia, Cantate Domino, and then a joint agape - fellowship. Some of Jože's faithful from Merlebach will also attend the event. I also ask you to have a snack or dessert to socialize after the Mass. Brother Jože Kamin will provide drinks.
The parish also announced the event for its faithful. The address of the Mary's Church is: Kirchplatz 7, 54293 Trier-Pfalzel. You will be able to park next to the church. Artificial intelligence tells me that from the center of Luxembourg, you should expect a 50-minute journey from the train station to Trier-Pfalzel.
This meeting of ours will be important, the choir is of very high quality. It will also promote Slovenia and our choral singing.
And I have another suggestion: I invite you to come to this gathering, to the Mass, the concert, and to socializing over food and drink, with a special prayer intention. We would pray fervently for a person in need in our community. Prayer pierces the clouds, says the Bible. Let us help! Take the time and come!
