We have been preparing for the visit of Slovenian illustrator Ivan Mitrevski since the beginning of the school year. We read his comics, recreated stories in comic form, and so on.
The reason we invited him was that students who live in Luxembourg and for the most part speak Slovenian as their second or even third language, love comics. They find comics, and especially illustrations, extremely "manageable" to read.
Ivan impressed everyone, both those who had just turned eight and teenagers who had picked up felt-tip pens after a long time and indulged in drawing. He presented his book Vsi fardimo and other comic works.
Ivan also did an excellent job of inspiring people to love books!
