The "Cusine du monde" event is looking for 1 or 2 Slovenian chefs

“Cuisine du Monde” is a project in which two amateur chefs present a specific dish from their country. One takes charge of preparing the main course, while the other or two prepare the appetizer and dessert — both something typical or traditional. It is important that the chef is not expected to prepare the food for 30-40 people (that is how many people usually come), but rather to present the recipe, and then the guests help him with the preparation. Namely, upon arrival (when signing up on the guest list), they choose the task they will perform that evening (helping the chef, peeling vegetables, washing dishes, setting the table, etc.). This way, each chef gets a team of approx. 7 assistants who help prepare the dish for the entire group. In the end, of course, they eat all the dishes together.

The purpose of the evening is not only to present the food, but also to present the country itself, from which the chefs are from. They can then prepare a short presentation of the country, perhaps a comparison between Luxembourg and that country, etc.

We at the Slolux association received an invitation to at the event, which will take place on December 3rd from 6:00 PM in Schiffange, Alongside Thailand, we present Slovenia and Slovenian cuisine.
